What life is all about..

On the first blog i said that i will post here all what matters in my life. And here's a Big Little thing that's been going on in my life lately. I GOT BABY#2! Baby Naomi is here 20 days ago and she is SO EXHAUSTING AND CONFUSING! yes you've read this right. Exhausting and confusing. Don't ever think that you will have a newborn baby and life will be roses n chocolate. No No. it definitely takes time to get to know your new baby. It takes time to build a relationship with this baby. You both are different personalities. Her needs are not your needs and her way of communication isn't anything that you have experience at. So it takes time for you both to get to know each other and to be very clear here this goes for both parents not only the mother. You too daddy will have to make effort to get familiar with your new baby. And in fact, with ur wife after all the things that she's been going through! All this for sure defines her up in a very sharp way and makes it difficult for you both to communicate in this time.
So hang in there , your life is taking a huge milestone now.

Later here i will be talking more about parenting and specially what we (egyptians) are very scared to talk about. Which is how to love my baby who i don't actually have love feelings for. And how to overcome the baby blues and all the shock of the delivery and of being totally responsible for a little person who can't communicate his needs in anyway that i know.

Parenting is tough
So tough
But i guess it's worth it :)

Diy Kimono jacket/cardigan

Kimono jackets or kimono cardigans were introducted by a lot of designers on SS14 and SS15 runways.
Coming straight from japan but is actually very different than the real "kimono" , here comes the cheapest and easiest way to have all colors and lengths of the wardrobe's master piece this season
The kimono , do it youself !

P.s. this could be made by any big scarf, any 2 small scarfs or any peace of sheer chiffon fabric.

This tutorial picture was Not made by me yet i found it very convenient to what i wanted to share with all my fashionists.

Bohemian trend ss 2015

Ever wondered what's with all the flower crowns spreading all around the city? Have you ever asked yourself what does it mean or why is it suddenly over the heads of a lot of girls?

Ever wanted to actually wear it but never knew how to pair it with other pieces of clothes?

Obviously bohemian style started lightly last year but it is now aggressively and shamelessly rocking this season spring/summer2015

Fabrics like lace and seude

Embrioderies

silver accessories with blue stones
Head pieces including flower crowns and chains
Feathery earrings and necklaces
Even turbons are originally boho
And much more

Designers like Alberta ferretti took bohemian trend to an extreme on the ss15 collection

Channel also introduced some mixed boho , so as valentino and chloƩ and others..

Let's see a quick sample of their ready to wear ss15 collection :) enjoy!

Valentino: embriodery on sheer fabric pleated dress on folk inspired tribe vest

ChloƩ ss15 ready to wear collection - lace

Chanel ..peace signs..string embriodery, boho flowers and pins

Again, Valentino ss15- kind of vintage boho?

Now some random boho suggestions from me by the help of my pinterest fashion dudes

The accessories - blue+silver= BAAAM

Off the shoulder is rocking this summer

Of course! Few braids.. captain sparo style :)

Lace short dress + seud hat (or flower crown)+ silver and blue accessories .. speaking boho chic here

Oh this mixture of fabrics never fail!

Those kind of pants

More accessories

Oh yeaah the kimono cardigans! Kind of  musthave this season! Thanks valentino
Seud vests with fringe

This was just a quick brief on how you can pair up some boho pieces and some examples on the pieces you can opt to have if you are willing to take your style a little more boho..
there's a lot of other ideas ..so don't be shy to try anything new or even invent your own fashion look :)

Fashion styles in general

Let's get serious now..
I am  not going to imitate the international fashion bloggers and post fashion shows and stuff like that [ i  guess sometimes I won’t be able to help it and will post some links to the fashion shows  that I liked] . but Let’s be realistic. I am Egyptian and I live in Egypt and I want to post here first for myself and second for you blog readers about how can we , normal Egyptian peeps [men or women] look kinda trendy , in the Egyptian streets. With all the dust [whites off] and all the harassment for both genders. And all the hot weather coming over.
Let’s hit the road.

Oh well first I’m going to educate you [yyyeeeaaaaah] about the fashion styles in general , there’s a lot more but these are the basic words that you’ll realize that you hear a lot when talking about fashion styles.

preppy: plaid skirts, sweater vests, pearl necklaces

punk: skinny jeans, leather, studs, peircings

modest: coverd up, long skirts, sweaters

sofisticated: suits, trousers, pencil skirts, blouses

sporty: sweats, tshirts, tennishoes

shlumpadinka (ask Oprah): sweats tshirts and old shoes

trashy: way too showing

edgy: converse, skinny jeans, black boots, basically some punk but not all punk

vintage: older styles, like an old band on your tshirt

western: brown leather, blue, browns, and orange: cowboy boots

nautical: blue red and white, bows, and collars

beachy: sandals, flowy sundress

futuristic: mettallic, what you imagine people in the future to wear

rocker: band logos, kind of punk

boho-chic: baggy shirts that go in at the bottom, big purses, casual, long necklace

flirty: cute dress

casual: shorts, pants, tennies, flipflops, etc

formal: nice dress and heels

casual chic: casual yet cute

hippie chic: baggy clothes, peace signs, headbands worn around the head, bell bottoms, tie dye, bright colors
